Kalyanam Kannan (KK) has a proven track record in the area of industry academia partnership.  He is a goal-oriented professional who has built and managed business in Education, Healthcare Life Science,  and Hi-Tech industries across the globe for more than 25 years. Before founding ISERT,  KK was the Global Head of Testing and Vice-President at Sonata Software Limited and was responsible for developing and executing Sonata's testing growth strategy and P&L of over $25M annually across markets and industry groups worldwide.

He is also a DAAD fellow from University of Bayreuth, Germany for his doctoral program, and also holds a M.Tech degree from College of Engineering, Guindy (Anna University).

Mr. Sathyamoorthy has 4 decades of experience in various senior executive roles globally. A graduate Civil Engineer of the Guindy Engineering College (CEG, Chennai), Post graduate certification in law (LLM) from Robert Gordan University, United Kingdom, Vice President of SIMCO Technologies, Canada, and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, India, Senior PE of the Engineering Council of India (ECI), Charted Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, India (IEI). Member (Life) of Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), Member ACI committee 546, a former member of the Steering and Core Committee of International Concrete Repairs (ICRI) UAE Chapter, a former member of the International Advisory Committee of Indian Bridge Management System (IBMS), a former member of the International Advisory Committee of Construction Chemical Manufacturer’s Association, India (CCMI), and is a speaker in many national and international seminars on concrete repairs and engineering.

He is a life member of several organizations and societies like ISTE, IEEE, CSI, IAENG etc. He had 26 patents filed and published , in which 5 Patents are granted. Different Sponsored project are competed by him from different agencies like AICTE, VGST, KSCST and DST.
